AdoptOntario is pleased to invite you to a Child and Youth Profile Night on March 30th, 2022. This is an opportunity for you to learn about an amazing little fellow who is waiting for an adoptive family.
The event will begin with a day in the life of this amazing young person and will be followed by a presentation by the child’s worker and an educational panel discussion.
At AdoptOntario, we believe in the importance of the holistic well-being and happiness of young people. This motivates us to find adoptive homes for every child and youth that supports both their unique needs and identity. This event is open to Black, Black Multi-racial, and Muslim families who are AdoptReady or have begun their PRIDE training.

The Adoption Council of Ontario provides specialized training and education for all those touched by adoption and permanency journeys. There is a framework for understanding adoption and permanency journeys and all those living these journeys can benefit from this knowledge. In preparation for Isaac's Profile Night, we welcome you to watch free on-demand webinars on ACEs, the brain and developmental trauma, openness and the importance of permanency.
What to Expect at Our Child and Youth Profile Night
You will learn more about a child who is seeking an adoptive family, as well as information and resources about permanency and adoption. A presentation will be led by an AdoptOntario Clinical Coordinator, and will be accompanied by the child's adoption worker. They will provide you with information about the child's interests, personality, needs, supports, and what a permanency family would look like for him. In addition, you will also have the opportunity to ask questions and to have them answered live by their adoption worker. An educational panel discussion will follow the presentation and Q&A.
