ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Personality Academics

Jason’s caring heart shines through in the attention he pays to his younger siblings. For their birthday presents he carefully listens to their wishes and interests to get the perfect gift.

Jason is in a smaller classroom setting, which is the best setting for him to reach his full potential. He is currently in a specialized classroom where he is receiving extra supports to help him reach his academic and behavioral goals.

Special Considerations Matching Considerations

Jason is used to being in a parenting role and needs the opportunity to be able to enjoy the joys of being a child. Currently, he receives therapeutic support in helping him to address issues around healthy expressions of anger and learning self-soothing techniques. He will need ongoing support in his development through resources and additional supports.

Jason requires a patient, warm family that will be able to respond to his need for nurturing, while at the same time provide the routines and structure that allow him to do his best. A family should also be willing to work with professionals to help support Jason’s emotional needs. Jason could do well in a one-or two-parent family who will be able to celebrate with him while also providing routine and structure to enhance his development. Preference will be given to families who match Jason’s racial or cultural identity.

Openness Questions?

Jason previously lived with his two younger siblings. He will need to be with a family that will ensure that his relationship with his siblings is enduring and meaningful. This will be in the form of face-to-face visits and phone calls.
