"Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star" may as well be Benjamin's personal theme song, as it combines two of the great loves of his life: music and lights. Its calm and peaceful tune is also a good reflection of this sweet boy's happy and easygoing personality. This affectionate preschooler likes nothing better than sitting in a familiar adults' lap and snuggling close for storytime. He listens attentively and enjoys any book that is shared with him.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Personality Academics

Benjamin's warm and gentle nature means that people fall in love with him instantly! Upon joining the foster family, Benjamin immediately became a very special part of it. He goes to his foster caregivers for comfort and reassurance when he needs it, as is healthy for children his age. He is a peaceful yet busy little guy. Easily entertained, Benjamin loves playing with his spinning wheel, bouncy balls, balloons, and plastic bottles.

Due to his age, he does not yet attend daycare or school. Even as a young child, Benjamin demonstrates such resilience. He has been through a lot in his life but he is still smiling, energetic and loving life. He is always up for an adventure and exploring. To help him communicate, Benjamin has been learning sign language. He also will communicate by taking your hand and leading you. His ability to bond and socialize is truly amazing.

Openness Matching Considerations

Benjamin has been fortunate to have his biological mother and maternal grandmother continue to have contact with him and this openness will continue for him. Benjamin's biological family is supportive of Benjamin's adoption plan.

The agency is seeking a two-parent family for Benjamin. It is an asset for his adoptive parents to have an interest in learning about his various medical needs.

Special Considerations Questions?

Strong and mighty, Benjamin has a lot of strength in his upper body and core muscles. The important adults in his life think that he will enjoy sports and being active! As he works on his physical development, Benjamin is crawling and occasionally walking.

Benjamin has a complex care team to help improve his overall health and development. This wonderful team is very supportive and will provide training to Benjamin's family as they learn the best way to care for him and advocate for his needs.
